Description
7 African Powers Orisha oil
The Seven African Powers are seven of the most powerful and venerated Orishas. When the Seven are brought together in invocation and prayer, they will do miraculous things for their people. The Seven African Powers are: Elegua, Ogun, Obatala, Yemaya, Oshun, Chango and Oya. The 7th (Oya) is sometimes substituted with Orunmila. Call upon them in times of great need.
Contains orris root, sandalwood, peppermint, sage, cedarwood, and other herbs and essential oils in a base of fractionated coconut oil.
Seven Orishas, revered figures in Santeria, make up the Seven African Powers. As slaves attempted to stay connected to their ancestral faith, these were brought to the United States and other countries through the African diaspora. The modern descendants of the African diaspora still rely on these forces. The Orishas are not quite gods, but they are more advanced than humans. They first appeared among the Yoruba, who worship Olodumare as their chief creator god. The Orishas function as demi-gods or in a role akin to an archangel. They are simply referred to as “Orishas” or, sporadically, “deities” because there is no true English word that corresponds to this.
The Seven African Powers Are Called Upon
It’s crucial to comprehend and show respect for the culture and individuals who introduced the Orishas to the rest of the world before you ask for their assistance. Honor them as you approach. The Seven African Powers will not grant you assistance if you do not appreciate them or their people, even though you are not need to be of Yoruba ancestry.
Understanding the preferences, taboos, and rivalries of each Orisha is also critical. Some people should never be called upon at once (except for as the Seven African Powers). Some people get offerings they detest. You can prevent errors if you are aware of these items.
You can make a request to these mighty beings for assistance with challenges in your life, spiritual development, and gaining access to your inner strength and power. All of the necessities for human existence, including as love, fertility, power, justice, healing, and opportunity, are controlled by the Seven African Powers. They are useful when you have a pressing need, want to be prepared, or want to gather as many blessings as you can.
